Jonathan Austin, thank you for the fabulous clip above of our couple! |
Transparency is a Virtue Since I specialize in more informal and intimate ceremonies, my honorarium is among the more affordable in New York City. Also, it holds constant for all types of ceremonies--weddings, vow renewals, and baby welcomings--but I do not request anything for funerals. My retainer or honorarium ranges from $275 to $350 flat/total for the ceremonies in the New York Metropolitan Region. For officiant services alone, I do not add any further fees. This reservation fee includes unlimited phone and e-mail correspondence; a general overview of how to obtain the license; the option to exchange personal vows; my transit costs; the punctual performance of your standard marriage service; a friendly human being who has officiated well over eight hundred ceremonies; and, of course, the prompt and proper filing of your marriage license--the Clerk then mails the certificate to you about twenty business days later. If you need me to verify your marriage with a newspaper, I am happy to do so too. Past couples have submitted their announcements to the New York Times, among other newspapers: Maria & Eduardo (June 2012); Aruni & Mike (March 2010); and Sarah and Justin (December 2009), among other media. Please e-mail Judie@GetMarriedNY.com with questions and the place, date, and time of your ceremony. |
